Cartridge collection company provides 10 percent bonus to donations until the end of October.
Planet Green Recycler has 
celebrated its first October RecycleFEST, offering schools, non-profit and religious groups a 10 percent donation bonus for accepted e-waste items, as the scheme approaches its close at the end of October.
Organisations were able to take advantage of the bonus when they submitted 100 or more accepted e-waste items including inkjet and toner cartridges, mobile phones, MP3 players and other electronic devices.
In operation since 2000, the collection company claims to have helped thousands of charitable organisations raise over $40 million (€30.1 million) and offer a free e-waste recycling programme.
Arica Rosenthal, Director of Marketing, Planet Green, commented: “Fall is a great time of year to reinvigorate fundraising programmes. Everyone is back form the summer break and this promotion provides a great incentive for our participants to get word out about their program and receive an extra fundraising boost towards their cause.”
The October RecycleFEST is due to close on 31 October.
