Epson Telford Limited announces zero waste to landfill status, with thanks to waste management company.

An Epson manufacturing facility based in the UK has claimed to have achieved zero waste to landfill following its teaming with waste management consultants Valpak, reports Projector Point.

Epson Telford Limited, the OEM’s centre for manufacturing in Britain, has worked with Valpak to carry out a number of initiatives to reduce the amount of e-waste, scrap metal, pallets and office waste it sends to landfill, including “a full audit of all materials entering and exiting the site, a clear plan to reduce, reuse and recycle materials wherever possible and financially feasible and strict waste management targets”.

Commenting on the company’s achievement, Justin Pike, Environmental Supervisor at Epson Telford said: “This is just one very practical example of what Epson can do to reduce our impact on the environment. Valpak’s services have contributed to the project and have audited and approved our achievement of zero waste to landfill.”
