Imaging supplies distributor looking for “commitment on quality” at this year’s event in June.
Delacamp will be among the companies sponsoring 2013’s Focus on Europe conference, which is due to take place in Vienna on 20 and 21 June, with the company keen to engage in discussions on the quality of consumables available on the market.
Speaking to The Recycler about the event, Volker Kappius, COO of Delacamp, said: “Delacamp is a true partner for the quality laser imaging aftermarket remanufacturers located in Europe or headquartered in Europe. Unfortunately, we see that our customer base is in jeopardy because of low quality and “new- build” cartridges that are in contrast to the direction the European remanufacturing industry has taken and the spirit behind the whole industry. The industry is not, although the Chinese want it to be, about being cheap. It is about offering quality at a reasonable price and about offering a greener alternative to the throw-away approach that the OEM followed when they started the LBP consumables industry.
“We believe that the Focus on Europe event, especially in 2013 when paired with the ISO meetings in Vienna, is a perfect event to get together and agree a joint commitment on quality. As one of the few quality focused suppliers of aftermarket components and toner, it is our obligation and pleasure to be part of this event.”
