Increase in local companies exhibiting at Paperworld Middle East 2013

Number of UAE exhibitors at trade show expected to increase by 25 percent from previous year.Accroding to Middle East business resource website AMEinfo.com, companies from the UAE are looking to widen regional presence by participating at this year’s Paperworld Middle East, which will take place in Dubai between 5and 7 March and includes aftermarket tradeshow Remanexpo@Paperworld Middle East 2013.2013’s Paperworld Middle East, which will be the show’s third year, will see around 25 percent more local companies exhibiting their products and networking, with the show aiming to “bring together key decision makers, buyers and customers in the region to explore the vast potential of the paper, office supplies and stationery industry”.

The show will feature companies from around the world covering a variety of sectors within the industry including office supplies; school articles; gift articles; greeting cards/calendars; wrapping material; office paper and films; household paper and films; with a number of companies from the aftermarket also planning to attend and showcase their latest products.

Ahmed Pauwels, CEO of Paperworld organiser Messe Frankfurt, said: “Paperworld Middle East’s success in drawing the participation of key buyers and trade visitors from across the region makes it an ideal event for local suppliers and distributors to showcase their offerings.

“It will also give UAE companies looking to spread their wings further, a preview of the trends and developments that are shaping the international market and what will influence regional buying decisions,” he added.

Messe Frankfurt has also said that this year’s show will be “larger and more representative” than previous years, adding that “45 percent of this year’s exhibitors have not previously participated and so will be making their debut in March”.
