The components supplier has launched a complete system solution for Lexmark cartridges and chips for Dell, Xerox and Fuji Xerox cartridges.
The complete system solution is designed for Lexmark’s E260, E360 and E460 printer series’ toner and drum units, with the company noting that after its “recent release of replacement Odyssey OPC drum and wiper blade” it now offers the complete remanufacturing solution for the cartridges and drums.
The OPC drum and wiper blade join the 57 chips “for every page yield and region” as well as toner fill weights, drum gears, Odyssey doctor bar and spring, cartridge parts and tools for the devices.
The company also launched colour chips for cartridges used in Dell, Xerox and Fuji Xerox cartridges. The Dell machines include the colour laser 1250, 1350 and 1355, whilst the Xerox machines include the Phaser 6000, 6010 and WorkCentre 6015 MFP, and the Fuji Xerox machines consist of the DocuPrint CM205, CP105 and CP205 colour lasers.
Noting that the company’s engineers are “working to develop colour toner”, Static Control added that “these simple, easy-to remanufacture toner cartridges are unlike conventional laser toner cartridges” in that “they are designed as a toner reservoir, with no internal replaceable parts”, and are “keyed by colour to ensure correct installation”, requiring chips to “function correctly”.
It also noted that the drum and fuser unit in the machines in each case are “not user-replaceable” and are “designed to last for the life of the printer”.
