The OEM stated that “in line with its commitment to the market” in Qatar and “as a leading player in the document business industry” there, the MX-7040N and MX-6240N machines are “well positioned for the high volume office” as well as a “light workload production environment”.

The machines are full-colour and offer 150-sheet paper capacities with a print speed of 70ppm for the MX-7040N and 62ppm for the MX-6240N, and each machine features an “environmentally-friendly design which is free of lead and chromium”, as well as a short warm-up time, which Sharp notes contributes to “overall energy savings”.

Rajendra Nadkani, Senior Divisional Manager at Al Muftah Trading & Cont. Co., which will provide the machines in the country, said: “We are proud to bring the latest printing solutions from Sharp to businesses in Qatar – both print and copy bureaus and corporate reprographic departments (CRD) of larger-scale corporations – thereby enhancing their productivity through smarter, more efficient and more reliable multi-function printers.”
