OEM introduces SureLab D3000 professional photo printer at Photo World Dubai.
AME info reports that Epson is launching its new professional photo printer, along with its pro-graphics printers such as R3000 and SP4900 at Photo World Dubai, which takes place between 24 and 26 April at the Dubai World Trade Center, with the OEM making its first ever appearance at the event.
The SureLab D3000 is Epson’s first inkjet-based dry photo lab and is claimed to have “superior quality, low cost per print, improved flexibility and simpler maintenance for photo print service providers”, featuring Epson’s MicroPiezo print head technology along with the company’s new six-colour UltraChrome D6 ink cartridges.
Boasting print speeds of up to 260 8” x 10” and 650 4” x 6” photo prints per hour, the printer is also compatible with any Microsoft Windows-based application by utilising standard Epson Professional Photographic printer drivers, enabling users to print directly from most photographic applications.
Shihab Zubair, Business Development Manager at Epson Middle East, said, “This is the first time we are participating in PhotoWorld-Dubai and therefore we wanted to make sure we are showcasing a ground-breaking product for the photography market.
“The vivid print quality, speed and job flexibility offered by the SureLab D3000 is truly remarkable. Epson has incorporated years of printing technology experience featured in our professional line of imaging printers, and scaled it to bring the SureLab D3000 to the market. This new solution is capable of delivering high volumes of prints with the photo quality Epson is known for, in a compact unit designed to fit the needs of a range of photo print service providers in the Middle East.”
