Boston Herald reports that 39-year old Frank M. Stanley, a former technical support representative at HP, has been indicted under larceny charges after he was alleged to have defrauded nearly $288,000 (€219,500) from HP.

According to Attorney General Martha Coakley, an internal investigation was conducted by HP and found potential impropriety, leading to a further investigation by the Attorney General’s office. It is alleged that between November 2009 and March 2012 Stanley “ordered more than 150 unauthorised computer server processing units” and then shipped them to an unidentified contact in California, who paid him over the internet.

The article states that Stanley is scheduled to be arraigned at a later date in Bristol Superior Court, Massachusetts.
