The parts manufacturer has launched the kit for the OEM’s 4014 device.
The upgrade kit allows the printer to accept high-yield toner cartridges, increasing the yield of the cartridge by up to 300 percent, according to Metrofuser.
The company added in turn that the printer “was designed to accept the CC364A standard yield cartridges”, which print up to 10,000 pages, and noted that the upgrade kit “modif[ies] the printer allowing users to purchase cost effective high [or] extended yield toner cartridges” such as HP’s CC364X, which would print up to 40,000 pages.
Metrofuser also stated that the “inexpensive” kit was manufactured to be aimed at MPS environments, noting that it can save “thousands in toner costs by increasing cartridge efficiency”. The upgrade kit can be purchased from Metrofuser under item code RM1-X105.
