New C3003SP/MP, C3503SP/MP, C4503(A)SP/MP, C5503(A)SP/MP and C6003SP support 320 x 450 mm SRA3 format.
Ricoh has released a range of colour MFPs that are able to support the increasingly popular SRA3 format (320 x 450 mm); with the devices also featuring an advanced controlled to increase productivity through features such as Searchable PDF, ID Card Copy and Single Pass Duplex Feeder.
The OEM states that its new MFPs are particularly suitable for image-rich print jobs due to their uni-directional flow of developer which ensures even toner density and vibrant colours. The internal finisher also included in the devices is said to be a first for this segment, and is able to save space as well as act as a hole-punch and stapler, with two types of booklet finisher being available depending on the number of pages – either 1,000 sheets or 3,000 sheets.
Print speeds of the MFPs reach up to 60 pages per minute, with warm-up time as low as 17 seconds and first copy times recorded at 3.1 seconds for black and white copies and 4.5 seconds for colour. Recovery from sleep mode is also said to be low, at 6.2 seconds, and Ricoh asserts that the devices are quiet when in operation, with the fan shutting down during sleep mode to further reduce the noise.
Commenting on the products’ release, Maaike Giling, Senior Product Manager at Ricoh, said: “These are Ricoh’s first mid-segment colour multifunctionals offering SRA3 support. SRA3 paper is slightly larger than A3 to allow for trim. Small to mid-sized businesses with demand for fast SRA3 printing and high colour output, such as advertising or design companies, will appreciate the possibility of printing crop marks for proofing. These MFPs are also an invaluable tool for medium to large businesses needing high quality colour output with a variety of finishing possibilities and a low Total Cost of Ownership.”
