Contex has produced six new wide-format MFPs with the ability to scan.
CIOL reported on the product launch from the two companies, which aim to “deliver a powerful wide-format scanner multi-function printer at an entry-level price”.
The six new machines have been developed by the two manufacturers “to meet the needs of the technical market”, with users able to select an MFP bundle “depending on workflow volume and document dimensions, with options specifically designed for varying workgroup sizes, productivity levels and imaging demands” for small, medium and large businesses.
The options include the Contex SD3615 MFP Repro or IQ4420 Repro scanning solutions paired together with either a standard or web-connected HP DesignJet printer, available “exclusively” from HP Graphics Elite Resellers. For small workgroups, machines include the DesignJet T250 MFP, T790 MFP and T790 Power MFP, whilst medium and large workgroups can use the T920 Power MFP, Z5400 PostScript Power MFP and T7100 Power MFP.
The small workgroup options allow users to have web connectivity, “providing access to the printer via smartphone, tablet and other Wi-Fi equipped devices” as well as through email and cloud programmes. For the medium and large workgroups, the scanner and printer bundles include Nextimage Repro software, a “height-adjustable stand” and a 17-inch touchscreen monitor.
