The MPS business has joined forces with office supplies company XL Office Solutions.
Costa Copy, which was set up in 2013 and reported on previously by The Recycler, was formed by Mike Astbury, formerly of Lasertech, PrinterManagement and The Green Printer Company, to offer a wide range of new MPS solutions as well as refurbished printers and remanufactured toner cartridges.
The company has now “received a fantastic opportunity” in terms of merging with Manchester-based XL Office Solutions, which was “looking for the opportunity to branch out into the MPS area”, with the merger said to “open the door for both parties to expand their services and opportunities within the office products sector”.
Costa Copy will now operate under XL Office Solutions, which employs around 20 staff and supplies a “very substantial customer base”, with the companies noting that since merging last month, the decision has “already started to pay dividends, and with the additional resource and opportunity, there are signs that this relationship will go from strength to strength”.

Costa Copy previously hired a new operations manager in November 2013.
