The Capstone Health Alliance’s sites have been “freed of copier and printer contracts”.
CMO reported on the “no-lease” agreement between the hospital group and Sun Print Management, an MPS provider in North Carolina. The company’s MPS solution provides “equipment, flexibility, efficiency and savings” to the sites, with 96 hospitals in states across the USA now able to use HP and Lexmark MFPs “without requiring equipment purchase, restrictive leases or long term commitments”.
The provider’s MPS model is said to be “unique” as each customer can “terminate one machine or the entire fleet upon 30 days notice”, giving users “contract flexibility” alongside “standard per impression price” and “freedom from lease agreements”, enabling “workflow efficiency rather than fixed contract commitments”.
Other services offered in the MPS programme include savings assessments, support for devices and replacement of faulty machines, as well as an “all-inclusive” cost-per-page model and a single monthly invoice that details page counts for each printer.
