The largest manufacturer of aftermarket imaging systems and components will open the centre in Istanbul on 12 May.
Static Control’s new sales office and distribution facility in Istanbul, Turkey will supply components to “the growing customer base of cartridge remanufacturers throughout Turkey”, with the new site set to have “considerable warehouse and office space” and “staffed by a team dedicated to supporting the remanufacturers of the region”.
The site is due to open officially on 12 May, with plans over the coming months to expand the number of staff working at the new centre. The company opened a new sales and distribution office in July 2013 in Butzbach, Germany to serve the DACH (Germany, Austria and Switzerland) region.
Yamani Araci, Static Control’s Regional Director for the Middle East, North Africa and Turkey, commented: “Static Control is thrilled to begin supplying from a world-class warehousing facility in Istanbul.
“The site brings us closer to our customers in Turkey and allows us to serve them more efficiently than ever with high quality products and services. The strategic location of the warehouse – close to Ataturk Airport – makes it easily accessible and puts it at the heart of a well-connected logistics network.”
Araci added: “This new facility will allow us to build on our reputation of supporting genuine remanufacturers in solving complex challenges in the industry; they now have better access to the technical services, IP support and OEM-quality component systems that only Static Control can provide.
“This is a significant step towards improving our after-sales services in Turkey and we will continue to invest in the company’s infrastructure throughout the Middle East to ensure excellent product availability. Looking ahead, now that our new sales office and warehouse is successfully established, we will focus on developing our technical support for this growing market.”
