The remanufacturer welcomed Colin Lambert to discuss and demonstrate remanufacturing.

Rochdale Online reported on Rochdale Council’s Leader, Councillor Colin Lambert’s visit to Kleen Strike, a few weeks after local Member of Parliament Simon Danczuk visited the company to discuss remanufacturing and procurement.
Lambert visited the remanufacturer last week to “see first hand” how cartridges are remanufactured, as well as to understand the “low carbon advantages that can be gained by using locally-produced toner cartridges”. The news site noted that Kleen Strike also “demonstrated and discussed […] the sustainable measures put in place to be more resource-efficient”.
Kleen Strike staff, including Laura Heywood, also spoke to Lambert about “encouraging Rochdale Council to consider sustainability as well as lowest price” when it is “implementing future tenders” for cartridges. The company moved premises in January 2013, before celebrating both 30 years of business in July 2013 and then winning a local environmental award in November 2013.
