The meeting this Thursday will see talks about intellectual property and WEEE-2.
The meeting, taking place on Thursday 15 May at the Novotel Hotel in Coventry, is set to last from 10am until 1:30pm, with the association’s Annual General Meeting covering its Chairman, Secretary and Treasurer reports for the past year, before an election of new committee members closes out the AGM.
The next part of the meeting will include welcoming new members of the association, including Rethink Recycling, before discussions on the subject of the WEEE-2 legislation (which The Recycler reported on last week) from Kleen Strike’s Laura Heywood, and intellectual property from Static Control’s Ken Lalley, as well as other talks on damage scenarios and “what every remanufacturer should know about printers” from LaserFriend’s Pete Newbold.
