The toner manufacturer is CLP compliant, and has appointed a REACH representative.
NAND ipl announced that it has appointed CS Regulatory as its REACH representative, and its MSDS (material safety data sheets) are now CLP compliant. The CLP regulations concern the “classification, labelling and packaging of substances and mixtures”, and NAND added that this is the means “by which the United Nations Globally Harmonised System (GHS) of Classification and Labelling of Chemicals will be implemented in the EU”.
Kumar Binit, Director of NAND ipl, commented: “[The] EU is a very important market for NAND and a majority of the business is from [the] EU, and thus it is very important for NAND to comply with all the regulations for exporting toner to EU countries.
“With REACH and CLP compliant MSDS, NAND has ensured that [our] customers in [the] EU [are] fully protected by the laws of importing toners from India.”
The company previously announced Italian company DAMA as its exclusive Italian distributor for its toners.
