The ES94X5 range offers “performance, flexibility and finishing”.
The range of devices, which includes the ES9455 MFP, ES9465 MFP and ES9475 MFP, are A3 machines which OKI Systems (UK) states deliver “stunning results at high volume” based on its LED printing technology. The machines are aimed at educational institutions, businesses “with large departments” and companies where “there is a need for high-volume printing, copying and scanning”.
Each machine features large colour touchscreens and an open platform architecture, sXP, which provides support for both document capture and output solutions for customising “the flow of work to and from the device”. The three printers replace the ES9460 MFP and ES9470 MFP, with print speeds ranging from 25ppm (ES9455), to 35ppm (ES9465) and 50ppm (ES9475).
The ES9455 is the newest addition to the range, with OKI stating that it “addresses the needs of customers requiring a flexible device capable of handling heavy workloads” as well as “providing sophisticated finishing”, with an internal and external finisher available. The ES9465 and ES9475 meanwhile feature faster warm-up times and scanning, improved print quality, lower power consumption and “smaller unit size”.
The ES9455 features a standard paper capacity of 900 sheets and a maximum of 2,900; whilst both the ES9465 and ES9475 offer a standard of 1,200 sheets and a maximum of 3,200. Additionally, all three printers have high capacity toner cartridges and “security and encryption to [the] highest industry standards”.
Andrew Hall, OKI Systems’ Marketing Manager, stated: “OKI’s new range of smart MFPs meets the needs of more demanding users who want the flexibility of A3 colour printing, copying and scanning in one cost-effective device that can handle heavy workloads.
“These MFPs further enhance OKI’s already substantial offering in this important part of the market. They are designed to manage document workflows across every kind of organisation – from small businesses to busy departments.”
