Brother launches six printers in the Philippines

OEM releases both inkjet and mono-laser printers in the Philippine market.

Sun Star reported on Brother’s launch of the DCP-1510, MFC-1810, and MFC-1815 mono-laser and DCP-J100, DCP-J105, and MFC-J200 inkjet printers in the Philippines, with the DCP-1510 offering print, scan and copy capabilities at speeds of up to 20 ppm, as well as featuring a 16MB memory, resolutions of 600 by 600 dpi and manual duplex printing.

In addition to all of these features, the MFC-1810 is able to fax and PC fax and has a 14.4kbps fax modem speed, while the MFC-1815 features a “PC Fax with handset, 150-sheet standard paper tray, and built-in handset”.

The inkjet devices meanwhile offer colour print, scan, and copy functions and print speeds of up to 27 ppm when in printing monochrome in “fast mode” and 10 ppm if printing in colour, as well as a 100-sheet standard paper tray.

The DCP-J105 and MFC-J200 both feature wireless networking, with the latter also boasting faxing capabilities with “a modem speed of 14.4kbps, transmission speed of approximately seven seconds, automatic recognition of fax and telephone reception, speed dials of up to 40 locations, group dials of up to six groups, memory transmission of up to 170 pages, and out-of-paper reception up to 170 pages”.

All of the printers were introduced during a “Printer Madness 3” event in Davao, with Lalaine Mesina, Marking Manager at Brother International Philippines, noting that the company is also offering its customers free service and maintenance support; adding that Brother is “aggressively promoting [its] products in the provincial market”.
