The company’s new toners are designed for use in Lexmark and Samsung cartridges.
AQC Group’s first of the three new toners are designed for use in Lexmark’s C540, C543, C544, C546 and X548 printers, and have been “tested extensively”, showing “superb print quality throughout the print cycle”, with test prints available on request for AQC customers.
In addition, the company has also made available chips for these cartridges, with “patent pending printer immunising technology” that it states “protects against OEM killer firmware”. The chips also “facilitate the use of higher yields in the smaller printers”, which AQC Group adds creates “a wide range of MPS options”.
The fill weights that AQC suggests for the toners include: 85g for the 2,500 page black; 40g for the 2,000 page magenta; and 35g for the 2,000 page cyan and yellow: 140g for the 4,000 page black; 75g for the 4,000 page magenta; and 65g for the 4,000 page cyan and yellow: and 200g for the 6,000 page black; 120g for the 6,000 page magenta; 100g for the 6,000 page cyan and yellow; and 265g for the 8,000 page black.
The second and third toners released are replacements for Samsung’s CLT-506L and ELS colour toner cartridges, which are used in the OEM’s CLP-680 and CLX-6260 printers; and toners for the CLT-6092L and ELS colour toner cartridges, which are used in the OEM’s CLP-770 and 775 machines. The toners have been developed “to replace the OEM” and “perform flawlessly” with print speeds of 24 ppm for the first two machines and 32 to 33 ppm for the latter two machines.
Recommended fill weights for the CLP-680 and CLX-6260 toners include 140g for the 6,000 page black, and 85g for the 3,500 page cyan, magenta and yellow cartridges; whilst for the CLP-770 and 775 toners, AQC recommends fill weights of 180g for the 7,000 page CMYK cartridges. Additionally, chips have been made available for Samsung’s CLT-506 and CLT-6092 cartridges, which are also now ready for ordering.
The company added: “AQC Group offer exceptional toner quality for cartridge remanufacturers who are looking to offer their customers a cheaper alternative to the OEM without compromising on quality and transfer efficiency.”
