Police in Hinjewadi, Pune conduct raid at a stationers selling duplicate printers and toners being falsely sold under the HP brand.
Dna India reported on the raid on R.B. Stationers, which resulted in the arrest of its owner, Sanjay Bhanudas Komple, following the discovery of duplicate printers and toners that were being sold at the store under HP’s brand name.
Enforcers of Intellectual Property Rights (EIPR) and Hinjewadi police discovered the products and a First Information Report (FIR) was lodged against Komple following his arrest; while the duplicate products were seized “under the guidance of additional commissioner (North Region) Prakash Mutyal” and police station staff.
