The company will be based in Hanover, Germany.
PBS-Business reported on the news that Pelikan Hardcopy, which previously restructured to focus on toner in January 2013, has become an independent sales company called Pelikan Hardcopy Distribution GmbH & Co. KG.
The new company contains the printer accessories business unit from Pelikan Hardcopy Production, and has been in operation in Hanover, Germany since 1 June in a bid to be “flexible to respond to market and consumer needs”, with printer product brands from the company including Pelikan, Geha and Prime Printing, which the new company “can better market under one roof”.
Berrie Matse is Managing Director of the new company, which PBS-Business notes now “goes back to the path of specialisation”.
