HP Envy 7640
“Affordable” printers are aimed at small businesses and consumers.
Tech Radar reported on the launch of three new colour all-in-one printers by HP, with the models featuring scanning and copying capabilities, wireless connectivity, a memory card slot and in-OS printing from iOS and Android devices.
In addition to this, the Envy 7640 offers features designed for offices, such as an automatic document feeder, automatic duplex printing and fax capabilities. It also has slightly faster print speeds of up to 14ppm, compared to the Envy 5640’s 12ppm.
Meanwhile the 5740 is designed for small office use, offering four USB ports in comparison to the two USB ports offered by the Envy models; although it lacks a touchscreen display.
The three models are available in the UK, with the 5640 priced at $129 (€98), the 5740 priced at $149 (€113) and the 7640 priced at $199 (€151).
