The manufacturer has released a replacement Konica Minolta toner and chip solutions.
The replacement toner is designed for use in Konica Minolta’s 1600W, 1650EN, 1680MF and 1690MF machines, and is “built around a rotating carousel” for the CMYK cartridges. AQC notes that “due to this design, when using a cheaper non-OEM toner, the cartridges are prone to some leaking”, which results in “dusting within the machine”.
As a result, AQC has “thoroughly researched and developed a new set of chemically-produced toners” which will “keep dusting to a minimum while retaining the full performance of the print reproduction”, and the new toners have high image density and “good adhesion rates throughout the cycle”, as well as good half-tones and gloss levels”.
Additionally, AQC has made replacement CMYK chips available for the range of toners, which are rated at yields of 2,500 pages each, and it notes that the toners are available in 75g small bottles and 10kg bulk bags. The manufacturer stated that it offers “exceptional toner quality for cartridge remanufacturers who are looking to offer their customers a cheaper alternative to the OEM without compromising on quality and transfer efficiency”.
