The bulk toners are designed for a range of OEM cartridges.
The company stated that both toners have been developed to “provide OEM equivalent performance and image-quality at substantially lower cost”, with the first toner designed for use in a wide range of Kyocera printers, as Kyocera’s gain in market share in colour copiers, MFPs and laser printers have meant its cartridges are “increasingly also attracting refillers”.
The toner is designed for use in the following Kyocera printers and cartridges: FS-C5200DN (TK-550); FS-C5400DN (TK-570); FS-C2026, C2126MFP, C2526MFP, C2626MFP, and C5250DN (TK-590); TASKalfa 250Ci and 300Ci (TK-865); FS-C8500DN and LS-C8500DN (TK-880); FS-C8020MFP and C8025MFP (TK-895); TASKalfa 2550Ci (TK-8315); KM-C2520, C2525e, C3232, C3232e, C4035e and C4535e (TK-8325); FS-3050ci, 3050Cig, 3051Ci, 3550Ci, 3550Cig, and 3551Ci (TK-8305); TASKalfa 4550Ci, and 5550Ci (TK-8505); and the FS-C8600 DN, C8650DN, and C8670DTN (TK-8600).
Cross Imaging stated that for the TK-8305, TK-8505 and TK-8600 cartridges in particular, which the “Trickle-System-Technology”, it is offering a suitable carrier “for premixing during the filling process”. The toner is said to “reduce printing costs of these devices significantly without compromising on quality”.
The second release is bulk toner for use in a range of different OEM printers and cartridges, including: Epson’s AcuLaser M1400, MX-14, LP-S340, S440 and M300; Xerox’s DocuPrint P350, P355, P450, P455, P105 and P205; Xerox’s Phaser 3010 and 4010; Xerox’s WorkCentre 3045; and NEC’s MW-5300 and 5500. The company notes that the machines are “largely populated in various markets in Europe, Middle East, Africa and Russia”.
The “relatively large number” of printers using the same cartridges mean that users can enjoy “substantially lower printing costs without compromising on performance or image quality”.
