The four machines are said to bring “increased productivity and personalisation”.
The four machines are part of the ProXpress range, and include the C2620DW, C2670FW, M4583FX, and M4580FX, forming a “new line” of ProXpress single function and MFP printers for desktop and office use, with Samsung noting that they are designed for SMBs and enterprises.
The C2620DW and C2670FW feature Samsung’s Rendering Engine for Clean Page (ReCP) technology and polymerised toner, with print speeds of 27ppm in monochrome and colour. Both machines also have a 4.1-inch LCD touchscreen, Google Drive support, built in near-field communication (NFC) technology and mobile printing capability.
The M4583FX and M4580FX meanwhile feature “fast scanning and powerful paper handling”, with print speeds of up to 47ppm, double-sided scanning at up to 60ipm, a long life drum with a yield of 100,000 pages and a high-yield toner cartridge that lasts 40,000 pages. Both printers include Samsung’s Smart UI and a 10.1-inch touchscreen, with the OEM stating that the UI allows the MFPs to “operate independently without a PC”. The two machines can also add wireless and NFC connectivity as options.
Matt Smith, Vice President of Sales and Marketing, Printing Solutions for Samsung’s Enterprise Business Division, commented: “Samsung is dedicated to producing high quality, cost-efficient printers to provide business users with an unparalleled printer experience. We understand the importance of seamless connectivity and simple user interfaces. Adopting the Android operating system into our printers makes them even simpler to operate and optimise.”
