The OEM’s new range of printers are wireless, cloud machines designed for the SOHO market.
The five new printers, Canon states, are “ideal” for users in the “construction, real estate, professional services, repair and maintenance, healthcare, retail and food services industries”, and feature “high-quality [prints], low cost per print, quick first print [and] cloud printing capabilities”. The AIO devices include the MB5320, MB5020, MB2320, MB2020 and iB4020, with each having “high ink and paper capacities” alongside “fast first print-out speeds”.
A new printhead and mechanical system works with a Dual Resistant High Density (DRHD) individual ink tank system, and the MB5320, MB5020 and iB4020 feature an optional XL-size tank with a capacity of up to 2,5000 pages in black and 1,500 pages in colour, whilst the MB2320 and MB2020’s standard ink tank can print up to 1,2000 pages in black and 900 in colour before replacement is required. Other features shared by the group of printers include “the ability to automatically-schedule on and off times”, the MAXIFY Printing Solutions app with “direct access to the cloud” and a wide range of social networks and cloud storage sites, and mobile printing compatibility.
The MB5320, MB5020, MB2320 and iB4020 feature speeds of 23ipm in monochrome and 15ipm in colour, whilst the MB2020 reaches speeds of 16ipm and 11ipm respectively. The devices are available now, with the MB5320 available for $399.99 (€314.49); the MB5020 for $299.99 (€235.86); the MB2320 for $199.99 (€157.24); the iB4020 for $149.99 (€117.92); and the MB2020 for $179.99 (€141.51).
