Sep 30, 2014

hpmobile-inThe new products include toner and components for HP, Samsung and Konica Minolta cartridges.

The first launch is X Generation colour toner and components for use in HP’s LaserJet Enterprise M651 printer, which replaces the CP4525 machine and features “slightly faster” speeds of 45ppm alongside “higher yielding toner cartridges”, as well as duplexing and mobile printing and a resolution of 1,200dpi.

Uninet noted that the cartridges are rated at 20,500 and 11,500 pages for the black cartridges, and 15,000 pages for the colours, with the cartridges “similar” to those used in the CP4525. The company will soon be launching conversion kits, and added that it offers a “complete remanufacturing solution” for the cartridge.

The second release this month is Absolute Color toner and components for use in Samsung’s CLP-365 and CLX-3305 printers, which are “basic low-end colour printer[s]” that are of a “small size and low cost, making [them] very popular around the world”. The printers have print speeds of 19ppm in monochrome and four pages per minute in colour, with “excellent print quality” and cartridges rated at 1,500 pages in black and 1,000 pages in colour.

Uninet added that the cartridge is “potentially […] very profitable” due to being “easy to remanufacture”, with only the toner and smartchips needing to be replaced when remanufacturing. Additionally, it noted that it also offers a “complete remanufacturing solution” for cartridge as well.

Finally, the last release is X Generation black toner and components for Konica Minolta’s pagepro 1550, MFP 1580 and 1590 printers – “small footprint” monochrome machines with speeds of 20ppm consisting of a separate toner and drum unit. Cartridges are rated at 1,200 pages or 2,600 pages, and the drum unit is rated at 12,000 pages, and Uninet states that the printer “will work on a variety of paper sizes and weights, making it an ideal choice for small businesses”.
