Largest manufacturer of aftermarket imaging systems and components announces its COLORCONTROL website has won the 2014 WebAward Manufacturing Standard of Excellence Award.
The award was presented to Static Control by the Web Marketing Association (WMA) in recognition of the company’s dedicated website for COLORCONTROL Replacement Imaging Systems, www.colorcontrol.info, which was launched in May.
The website provides in-depth information about each component of a toner cartridge, covering “the basics, the science and the photos” for each component in an interactive format; including a video explaining the importance of each component, and the science behind the technology and how it fits in to the electrophotographic process.
The WebAwards recognise websites based on seven criteria – design, innovation, content, technology, interactivity, copywriting and ease of use; with judges consisting of a select group of internet professionals with direct experience designing and managing websites. Static Control stated that its COLORCONTROL website scored particularly highly in the interactivity, design and technology categories.

He added: “The customers we have spoken to about the website have found it to be extremely useful. Customers have the site up at the counter in their storefront and use it to walk end users through the importance of an integrated system within remanufactured cartridges. The response has been very positive and this honour from the Web Marketing Association is validation that we are providing a great resource for our customers.”
