The remanufacturer launched a wide range of cartridges and informed customers of changing information.
The newly-released remanufactured cartridges are for a number of OEMs including Brother, Dell, HP, OKI, Samsung and Toshiba, with the Brother cartridges including remanufactured cartridges for use in its HL 1110 and 3140 machines – the monochrome cartridge for the former featuring a yield of 1,000 pages, whilst the four cartridges for the latter include a black cartridge with a 2,500 page yield, and colours with 2,200 page yields.
The Dell releases meanwhile are for the OEM’s B2375 printers, and consist of standard and Marathon-brand monochrome releases of 3,000 and 10,000 pages respectively. The two OKI releases in turn are monochrome cartridges for the OEM’s E4131 and B431 printers, with yields of 12,000 and 7,000 pages respectively. The sole Toshiba release is an MPS-brand monochrome remanufactured cartridge for its e-Studio 383P and 403S machines, with a yield of 12,000 pages.
In terms of the HP releases, the first are replacements for the OEM’s LaserJet Colour Pro MFP M476 cartridges, with the Marathon-brand black cartridge featuring a yield of 4,400 pages, and the colours 2,700 pages. The second are for the LaserJet Enterprise 700 Colour M775 machine, with the black featuring a yield of 13,500 pages and the colours of 16,000 pages.
The third HP release is a monochrome replacement for cartridges used in the LaserJet Enterprise M806, with a yield of 4,000 pages, and the fourth and final launch is cartridges for the LaserJet Enterprise M855 machine, with all four cartridges featuring a yield of 31,500 pages. For Samsung, the first launch is cartridges for the CLP 680, with the black featuring a yield of 7,000 pages and the colours 3,500 pages, whilst monochrome replacements for the Xpress M2020W and ProXpress M4020 are MPS and Marathon-brand respectively with yields of 1,000 and 10,000 pages.
Embatex also reported that a number of page yields for certain cartridges have been increased “so we can offer a better price-performance ratio for our customers”, for whom the price “of course, does not increase”. The yield increases are for four HP cartridges: the Q2610A, which grows from 10,000 to 12,000 pages; the Q2612A, which grows from 3,500 to 4,000 pages; the Q2613X, which grows from 8,000 to 10,000 pages; and the C7115X, which grows from 7,000 to 10,000 pages.
Finally, printer compatibility that “had to be restricted” on four OKI replacement cartridges – the O615, 16, 17 and 18, which feature yields of 5,000 pages each – has been restored, with the cartridges “suitable” for other machines “since the change of model restriction”. These include the 510, C530dn and MC561dn for black cartridges, and the C510, C511, 530dn, 531dn, MC561dn and 562dn for colours.
