Paperworld China 2015’s dates have been announced by Messe Frankfurt Hong Kong, with the event at the Shanghai New International Expo Centre set to be the 11th Paperworld hosted in China. The organisers noted that the event next year will take place from 15 to 17 October, following the news that the show this year – which took place from 18 to 20 September – saw a 12 percent growth in visitors.
The 10th show saw 22,357 visitors attend, with “positive feedback” given from exhibitors and visitors, and these visitors came from over 63 different countries, including: Korea; Hong Kong, Taiwan; Japan; Indonesia; Germany; the USA; Thailand; Russia; and India.
Fiona Chiew, Deputy General Manager of Messe Frankfurt (Shanghai), commented of the 2014 event: “I am very pleased to see this year’s Paperworld China has attained such outstanding results, demonstrating its growing significance to the stationery and office supplies industry in the region over the years. Additionally, the show attracted 501 exhibitors from 18 countries and regions including Australia, France, Germany, Hong Kong, India, Indonesia, Italy, Japan, Korea, Malaysia, Portugal, Sri Lanka, Switzerland, Turkey, the UK and the US.”
