The toner cartridge is designed to replace the TN-660 and 630 cartridges.
The monochrome cartridge is said by UTec to feature an “innovative design”, and is aimed at SOHO and home users. Its design includes a “single piece gear end plate and liner reset gear”, as well as a “non-rib paper guide path”, which “smoothens the paper flow to generate better printout quality”. In turn, a “universal tab” is said to “overcome the restriction of sales region[s]”, making the cartridge universal.
The cartridge is compatible with a wide range of Brother machines, including: the HL-L2300D; L2320D; L2340DW; L2360DW; L2360DN; L2361DN; L2365DW; and L2380DW; as well as the DCP-L2500D; L2520D; L2520DW; L2540Dw; L2540DW; L2540DN; and L2560DW; and finally, the MFC-L2700D; L2700DW; L2703DW; L2720DW; and the L2740DW.
The replacement is also available in both standard and high yield models, with respective page yields of 1,200 and 2,600 pages. UTec adds that the yields are tested under ISO/IEC 19752 standards “to prove cost effective”, whilst printouts show “consistent quality from beginning to end”, with the cartridge having undergone the “strictest manufacturing process”.
