The software provider and OEM have launched a Dealer Gateway for the e-automate enterprise resource planning (ERP) software.
ECi reported on the agreement, which will see the Dealer Gateway for Canon USA launched to “help streamline information updates for its independent dealers” who use the software provider’s e-automate ERP system. The gateway will allow dealers to “easily access and incorporate the latest Canon item information through an integration between the two technologies”.
The agreement will also allow dealers to “quickly push information updates about Canon’s items into their management systems as soon as new information becomes available”, which will help “increase accuracy for several business functions”, including “ordering new products, inventory management, finances and analysis”. ECi recently launched a new service technology website that informs customers about the e-automate technology and its benefits.
