User data information from Print Control Software’s ROI Print Manager will improve ECi’s MPS/MDS programs.
The patent-pending system would work by combining metering information and user-level print data, overcoming the traditional dealer’s problem of matching these two sets of data. ECi said that “the result is a robust solution that will assist dealers in the creation of an action plan to address and improve user workflow activity” and so offer “additional value to their customers” with their MPS/MDS program.
Print Control Software’s President of Print Control Software, Shane Hannan, said: “This integration could not have come at a better time for managed print services providers. Dealers are looking for a simple solution for managing data, users and customers while increasing their revenue.”
He also said that the development would help dealers increase revenue as the new system can meet new government legislation on data tracking and security. The news comes after the MPS software was upgraded in February 2014 to “track data at the device and end-user level for superior fleet management”.
