Cartridge Shop rated as one of cheapest retailers

Cartridge ShopThe online seller was named as the third cheapest OEM cartridge retailer by Which? as it offers a 12 percent saving on OEMs compared to the average price.

The survey appeared in the June edition of Which? magazine, which saw over 170 ink and toner cartridge retailers take part.

At the other end of the scale, WHSmith was the most expensive, costing 77 percent more than the average price, with Staples and Ryman.co.uk selling at the next highest prices of 68 percent and 52 percent respectively. Cartridge Shop, meanwhile, could only be bettered for price by Amazon.co.uk and Play.com, with 13 and 14 percent respective savings.

A Cartridge Shop spokesman said: “OEM pricing, as we’ve seen in the results of the survey, can be a contentious issue for the UK consumer and so we’re delighted that we can offer customers such outstanding savings on branded consumables.
