Jun 2, 2015

HP Wide formatThe HP OfficeJet 7510 wide-format all-in-one is aimed at SMEs, offering “low-cost output at the same quality as a professional print shop”.

The OEM said the new device will allow users to produce in-house “impressive, professional quality marketing and communications materials” with “greater print efficiency, security and speeds, by allowing users to print, copy, scan and fax from one device”.

The printer can produce sizes from postcard to A3-sized documents, as well as “high quality collateral such as posters, booklets and handouts”. It has a print speed of 15/8 pages per minute, and achieves its “print shop quality” through laser-quality black text and precise colour graphics, utilising water-resistant, anti-smear “pigment-based original HP individual ink cartridges”. Borderless printing is available for prints up to 33 by 48.2 centimetres in size.

HP said the printer will guarantee small businesses savings on “time, money and energy” and presents an “affordable option” for SMEs with a 50 percent lower cost per page than laser. It has a 6.75-inch touchscreen and a range of “time-saving” integrated business apps, while users can print direct from smartphone or tablet with HP ePrint, Apple AirPrint and Wireless Direct Printing.

Prices start at £139.99 ($213.17/€193.29) and the OfficeJet 7510 will be available in the UK from mid-June 2015.
