Digitek will distribute SKILCRAFT’s remanufactured cartridges as part of the US government’s AbilityOne programme.
In a press release, the distributor stated that it had added nine new “mandatory SKUs” from SKILCRAFT’s remanufactured inkjet and toner cartridge line to its product offerings. The SKILCRAFT cartridges are produced by TRI Industries, which employs blind and disabled people to produce “high quality” imaging supplies under the SKILCRAFT trademark, while the AbilityOne programme is a federal government programme that promotes products produced by such workers.
Digitek stated that the imaging products had been listed in the AbilityOne programme, and that it is “committed to supporting government resellers as a single source distributor”, adding that the deal “makes it convenient for our federal customers to purchase all their imaging products from one trusted distributor […] offering the product selection, availability and price needed in today’s competitive solution sales arena”.
Paul Martorana, CEO of Digitek, commented: “Digitek is proud to support the AbilityOne program by carrying SKILCRAFT products. By offering mandatory AbilityOne SKUs to our customers, we not only make it convenient for our federal customers to purchase all their imaging products from one trusted distributor, we are also doing our part to provide jobs for Americans with disabilities.”
