The new additions to the postal supplier’s LED workgroup offering include the HD-CX1600, which can print at 50ppm in colour or black and white.
The 1600 is a device aimed at “efficiency-minded, budget-conscious office users and departments with a need for excellent color with a “class-beating” cost-per-page, “amazing” colour production, standard duplexing, 500 gsm thickness capability and a 3,000 sheet maximum capacity. At the top of the range is the HD-CX1700, which features a fifth colour option for printing white or clear toner, a feature that “isn’t available on any other product in its price class”.
William Longua, Senior Director of Neopost USA’s Digital Print Group, said: “Customers will find that our new printers function like small digital presses for commercial printers and in-plant print shops at universities and large companies. These heavy-duty systems are excellent complements to high-end digital presses.”
