The two companies sent representatives to the event in Moscow, which was held from 19 to 21 May, in order to “discuss new products and [the] state of the industry”. During the event, Sophie Lillie, Static Control’s Distribution Manager for Eastern Europe, presented a “well-attended” seminar entitled Time for new opportunities with Static Control, which covered “current trends in the industry and an in-depth look at new and upcoming product releases”.

Both companies saw a “constant stream of visitors” to their booth at the event, with Lillie’s talk addressing Static Control’s inkjet solutions, which now number over 550 products including inks, resetters, cleaning products and packaging. She also highlighted the company’s COLORCONTROL replacement imaging systems, as well as Kyocera, Lexmark, Brother and OKI products.

Dimitry Klimov, TEKO’s Key Account Manager, also “explained key aspects” of the company’s MPS programme Prisma to attendees. The 2015 Business Inform event saw a 35 percent increase in attendees over the 2014 iteration, and Static Control stated that this was due to “participation from leading companies in the Russian office printing and consumable industry”.

Lillie commented on the event: “The guests know that visiting us, they will always find something fresh, new and interesting. Particular attention was drawn to some of our latest products because Static Control covers all segments of the market and wants to help Russian companies that are engaged in the production of cartridges. After all, it is important for us that our efforts should benefit the partners, and help them survive and earn money.”

Klimov added: “Compared to last year, the exhibition turned out to be more positive. In spite of the crisis, the interest of our partners has grown significantly. Most of them are not just interested in the MPS project, but they are ready to offer it to their customers.”
