The visit from the EMBA (Executive Master of Business Administration) students follows a similar trip by Duke University students from the USA in June earlier this year, with the latest students and a “local media group” visiting Print-Rite Tower to “unleash their creativity” with the CoLiDo 3D printers. The students “shared their views [on] how 3D technology can be used” in different industries, and how its application “can revolutionise our li[ves]”.

The students’ tour started with a video “showing the concept and application of 3D printing technology”, with Print-Rite stating that “students have a strong interest in what 3D gives them – ‘print whatever you can imagine’”. They also then “direct[ly] experience[d]” 3D printing by “turning a 3D digital file into a physical object” with the CoLiDo machines.

Dr. Shi Long Guang, President of Via Gold Capital Ltd., stated: “We are very keen to explore more on how [the] CoLiDo 3D printer applies in the education arena. We also hope we can work closer with Print-Rite in the upcoming 3D projects in the education arena.” One of the students added that “after this direct experience with [the] CoLiDo 3D printer, I now realise how we can save costs when making mock-up samples in our company”.
