The MAXIFY 2340, MAXIFY 4040, MAXIFY 5040, and MAXIFY 5340 were among the devices launched in the Middle Eastern country.
The range includes high-yield XL ink tanks and “a host of connectivity features”, and is aimed at SOHO (small office and home office) and the larger business community in Jordan. Canon launched the MAXIFY range in September 2014, with OCP launching a range of inks for the devices earlier this month.
A launch event was organised in association with United Electronics, with almost 70 tier two and tier three resellers in attendance.
Somesh Adukia, Regional Sales Director for Canon Middle East, said: “Home-based offices are a growing trend in Jordan. Canon’s evolving technology in the SOHO and laser printer categories is in perfect harmony with this growth.”
Basel Haddad, General Manager of United Electronics, commented: “United Electronics has been enjoying a strong partnership with its distributors for the past 43 years. We are happy to leverage this relationship for Canon. Canon’s MAXIFY printers are very price competitive and offer high productivity. We are sure they’ll enjoy a great uptake just like its other products.”
