Cartridge World franchises attract immigrants to US

Sep 16, 2015

cartridge worldForeign entrepreneurs are coming to the United States to begin their own Cartridge World franchise, with many setting up shop in Florida.

Franchisees from Europe, South America and Africa are joining the group, with three from Venezuela joining the company last year, BusinessWire reported. Ramon Casanova, owner of Cartridge World in Coral Springs, Florida said the situation in Venezuela was “becoming socially economically unstable”, but “now we have the opportunity to grow our business based on our efforts in a country with clear and equal rules.

“Most importantly, we are under a stable legal status that allows us to keep focus working and living a safe environment”.

The article stated that Cartridge World operates 1,000 stores in over 50 countries – quite a fall, as David Connett recently noted, from a peak of 1,800 worldwide – and in Florida Master Franchisee Francisco Garrido helps the foreign newcomers transition. “Once a candidate meets our requirements, we sign all the essential paperwork, help with registering a new business entry, find a location for their future store, and assist in obtaining a visa,” he explained.

“I’ve found that international franchisees are incredibly appreciative of this opportunity. Cartridge World is highly attractive due to its low investment, ease of running a store, recurring clients and family friendly business hours.”

The international franchisees are said in turn to offer an alternative view of problems and provide innovative solutions, bringing unique business experience for meeting the needs of Cartridge World’s multicultural clientele on the US east coast.
