he SC-P405 uses Epson’s MicroPiezo AMC eight-channel print head technology, with one-inch wide print heads with a 1.5pl minimum droplet size, and ink repelling coating for more accurate dot placement and minimal maintenance.
The A3 device features a front-in and front-out paper path and roll paper support, plus borderless printing support which is available in up to A3+, equivalent to 13 inches by 19 inches, Photo Review reported. It is compatible with Windows and Mac operating systems and can print via USB, Wireless, or Ethernet.
The device comes with the new Epson Print Layout software, which works in conjunction with Adobe Photoshop, Lightroom and Nikon ViewNX-i for fast and flexible output in variety of print and display styles.
It is expected to being shipping in later October, for AU$1,099 ($735/€645).
