The United States International Trade Commission (USITC) reported that the US Customs and Border Protection (CBP) agency had found more infringing cartridge products at US ports, with the result that three separate seizure-and-forfeiture orders have been handed to three aftermarket companies. Two of the orders relate to one Canon legal case, and the other to another separate Canon case.

The first two relate to the Canon case, 337-TA-829, which is the twisted gear case, with ITC Supplies and Inter Worldwide Trading Inc, both US-based companies, handed the order, and this case saw a General Exclusion Order (GEO) awarded in 2013, which is what the products are accused of having breached.

In turn, the final order relates to the Canon case, 337-TA-918, which is the dongle gear case that began in early 2014, and was handed to US-based Smart and Easy Corp.  This case saw a GEO applied in September 2015, and recently saw online retailer Amazon receive a seizure-and-forfeiture order.
