OKI’s E-64s
The US subsidiary will show its printers at the 2016 SGIA Expo.
A new printer in the ColorPainter series is the E-64s, which is said to be designed for “low to mid-volume sign and graphics print shops”, and has “advanced ColorPainter print technologies” to deliver density of colour and glossiness for “banners, backlit signage, fleet and vehicle graphics, wall and floor graphics, POP displays” and more. The features include “automatic print adjustment and CP_ Manager software” making it simple for “graphic professionals” to use.
These printers have “industrial Piezo printheads” which are longer wearing as well as OKI’s “low odour, eco-solvent SX inks” with a wide colour gamut and saturation. The printers are “certified GREENGUARD Gold” for indoor safety and “UL2818-2013 standard for chemical emissions for building materials, finishes and furnishings”.
For mid-to=high volume digital print OKI offers the ColorPainter M-64s which is 64 inches wide, delivering “vibrant output for indoor and outdoor use” and used for “backlit signs, banners and vehicle wraps”. The “Smart Nozzle Mapping technology and the […] seven colour SX eco-solvent, low odour inks” are all GREENGUARD Gold certified.
