The company stated that the event allows it to “conduct meetings with European customers [in] once place”.
The show next year – which includes the Remanexpo product group – will take place from 28 to 31 January in Frankfurt, Germany, and a wide range of industry companies are already confirmed for the event as exhibitors, with strong interest shown in the event. Previous exhibitors have already received an email containing a personal link to registration as well, and you can register for the event here; in May, The Recycler reported that the entire Paperworld event has seen a record number of exhibitor registrations.
Nikko Group’s Listar Nguyen told The Recycler that the company chose to exhibit at next year’s show because “this is an annual event for our industry. And this is our third time exhibiting at Paperworld”, with the company “a well-established company in Singapore for more than 10 years in the trade, and we would like to extend [our] business activity, networking and learning opportunities beyond Asia”.
In terms of advantages of exhibiting, Nguyen added that “we are able to conduct meetings with European customers [in] one place: engaging face-to-face is the best way to build the business relationship. And after this, we would have better views of what European customers need for the products, and we could enhance the packaging, as well as strengthen our quality control to meet the requirements.
“Exhibiting in this event, our company could promote our brands to worldwide customers. Meanwhile, we could keep notes of pricing and special offers from competitors to see how competitive our products are”. Finally, on what makes the event special, Nguyen stated that “Paperworld has chosen [a] good location for the exhibition: Frankfurt is a beautiful city and is conveniently accessed by the nearby countries.
“This could help to pull a huge flow of visitors and traders. Moreover, this event comes with online manuals, and this helps make the marketing process [and] catalogue access to be easily access[ed]”.
This year’s event saw over 1,608 exhibitors and 36,773 visitors from over 139 countries, with exhibitors said to be “pleased with new contacts, order patterns and [the] internationality” of the visitors to their booths”. Exhibitor and visitor surveys showed that “real innovations and novelties”, alongside “positive order patterns”, created a “positive mood” among exhibitors at the event. A call for papers has also been launched for the REMCON conference.
