The new service gets customers to “sign up to buy cartridges from Cartridge World” in return for the loan of a printer and all ongoing costs and repairs. The printers come with a 100 percent guarantee of functionality, are new or refurbished, and take into consideration the specific commercial requirements of the business.
The company’s franchises also carries out the installation, maintenance and repairs, and has a 48-hour response time. One of the benefits is that customers are not “locked in” to a contract, and can cancel at any time. Businesses, Cartridge World claims, will be able to save 20 to 30 percent on cartridges, but they can also expect “consistent printing performance, advice on best printers and printing supplies, access to top printer models, covered costs for parts and repairs, and product and service availability”, all of which will reportedly lower printing costs.
