The company’s i-PROG resetter has been updated to a new version, with a series of chips also launched for resetting.
TNCore stated that the i-PROG resetter version X2 has been updated to the 2.28.2.31 software, with the previous software version 2.27.2.30. In addition, the company stated that a range of chips were available for resetting, including for Canon’s imageCLASS MF511 and LBP-9660, and Samsung’s MLT-115, CLT-606 and CLT-607. The company also shared a video on how to reset the machine.
In October last year, it launched a range of HP Inc and Epson chips, while in September it launched the ‘TNBOX’ MPS programme and app. Inkjet chips for HP Inc and Epson were launched that month as well, with a previous reset video launched last August, and Canon chips in July.
The i-PROG was launched in 2014, and is Android OS-based, features a 4.3-inch touchscreen, Bluetooth and data transfer support and a “simple and easy” interface. It also offers functions including chip reset, upgrade and information change, such as region code, colour or yield; as well as performing data reading/transfer and inspections of chips to ensure that they are compatible with printers.
The device is also able to collect daily or monthly work statistics and update chips in response to OEM firmware changes. TNCore said on launching the machine that the new device is eco-friendly and improves efficiency whilst effectively saving costs.
