InfoTrends’ Office Group Associate Director will given an overview on the analysts’ insights into the market’s future changes.
The REMCON conference programme, which will be chaired again by Lightwords’ Peter Mayhew, is now live on our events website here. Each day will begin with a morning briefing where visitors can “take a few minutes to network and find out” what’s going on and what’s happened at the show, followed by a short introductory discussion by Mayhew before the programme begins. The programme is subject to change, so keep checking back on our events website for the latest.
Carroll’s presentation, The future of office print, takes place on Monday 30 January at 11.40am, and will look at the changes in the industry, and incorporate InfoTrends’ latest research into print behaviour, and how it is “being impacted by changes in the workplace”, as well as how the market “may be impacted by an increasing focus on digital workflow” and how younger workers’ attitudes to printing “may differ”.
Carroll commented: “The past 24 months have seen an unprecedented level of change taking place within our industry, and with print volumes continuing to come under pressure it is expected that further change is inevitable as the industry adapts itself to deal with a smaller overall opportunity.
In addition, the workplace continues to evolve, with ‘millennials’ set to become the next generation of print users…how does a younger workforce view print and paper, and what impact will they have on the demand for print longer term.”
A wide range of industry companies are already confirmed for the event – taking place from 28 to 31 January in Frankfurt, Germany – as exhibitors, with strong interest shown in the event. In May 2016, The Recycler reported the entire Paperworld event has seen a record number of exhibitor registrations, and The Recycler reported that over 100 exhibitors have been confirmed for the Remanexpo product group.
Last year’s event saw over 1,608 exhibitors and 36,773 visitors from over 139 countries. Visitors can now apply for vouchers to get their free visitor tickets, and you can do this by clicking here. Business matchmaking was confirmed for the whole Paperworld event, and is now live – you can find out more about it here.
The Recycler reported on the event in Frankfurt last year here, here, here and here; and a full report from that iteration of Remanexpo can be found in issue 280 of The Recycler.
