Show organisers Messe Frankfurt has shared important information for exhibitors at this year’s show.
Messe Frankfurt stated in a communication to exhibitors that the show “is approaching rapidly and involve important changes during the setting-up and dismantling phases”. This includes a new check-in system as well as that “advance registration is a prerequisite for all vehicles wanting to enter” the exhibition centre during the “setting-up phase” of the event.
This includes cars as well as lorries or vehicles that “enter the fairground during the setting-up and dismantling dates”, with the organisers adding that visitors should “always drive to the check-in point at the Rebstock parking area first”, where you are “given an entry permit and details of the gate to be used for entry”. At these gates, only registered vehicles “carrying stand-construction materials and exhibits will be allow to enter”.
However, the organisers pointed out that “advance registration is not required for vehicular entry during the advanced setting-up phase”, and that it is “sufficient to show that advanced setting-up has been approved”, with access through the Tor West or west gate. Messe Frankfurt asks that visitors and exhibitors “please register all vehicles for the standard setting-up phase” online here to “avoid long waiting times for your construction team”.
Once this has been done, you should “print out the online registration form and give it to the driver”, and pass on the information “to your stand-construction team”, with details of setting-up and dismantling times available here. The company also discussed “service tips for your visit”, including checking exhibitor listings online here and collecting the official catalogue either before the show online or at the show from the box offices.
It also recommends visitors sign up to the Paperworld Newsletter here; that they download the Paperworld Navigator app for when they are at the show; and to check social media to keep up-to-date while at the show. A wide range of industry companies are already confirmed for the event – taking place from 28 to 31 January in Frankfurt, Germany – as exhibitors, with strong interest shown in the event.
In May 2016, The Recycler reported the entire Paperworld event has seen a record number of exhibitor registrations, and The Recycler reported that over 100 exhibitors have been confirmed for the Remanexpo product group. Last year’s event saw over 1,608 exhibitors and 36,773 visitors from over 139 countries. Visitors can now apply for vouchers to get their free visitor tickets, and you can do this by clicking here.
Business matchmaking was confirmed for the whole Paperworld event, and is now live – you can find out more about it here. The Recycler reported on the event in Frankfurt last year here, here, here and here; and a full report from that iteration of Remanexpo can be found in issue 280 of The Recycler.
